What is Hyper Definition for Charity?
Hyper Definition for Charity is a division of Hyper Definition with a goal of hosting live charity events to raise money for Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center and Children's Miracle Network. With streams focusing on a mix of live-action variety, virtual reality, and audience interaction, each event is a unique experience that welcomes everyone to participate and help raise money for the kids!
How Does it Work?
It’s simple, you donate to the Extra Life campaign and then you’re done! Extra Life then takes that money and gives it to the hospital of our choice, in this case, Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center, as ‘unrestricted funds’. They’ll be able to decide where and how the money is used in order to create the biggest impact in the lives of the children they treat!

Q: Is my donation tax-deductible?
A: Yes, your donation is tax-deductible! A receipt for your donation should be emailed to you after the transaction is complete. If you need a copy of your receipt or did not receive one, please contact the Extra Life support team through their Contact Form.
Q: When will I receive my donation rewards?
A: A majority of the physical rewards we send out are on a made-to-order basis so we don’t end up over-stocking on extras we don’t need, we typically try to send physical rewards out around the end of the monthly order period. Digital rewards are sent out as they are produced.(Notice: If you haven’t received your reward after this one-month period, please contact us or set up a support ticket on our official Discord).
Q: How can I, a viewer, participate?
A: There are several ways you can contribute to Hyper Definition for Charity as a viewer! You can donate to the events, share it with your friends, call into the show and chat with us live, or even just watch, can’t have a live stream with no viewers!
Q: I’m a streamer/content creator, can I guest on one of the events?
A: Setup for each event usually takes place 1-2 months prior to the scheduled date, part of this process is finding streamers and content creators who are interested in coming on for an hour or so and chatting with us. Are you a streamer or content creator? Perfect, send us your info and we’d love to have you on the show!
Q: I’d like to get more involved and join the Hyper Definition Extra Life team, can I do that?
A: We're always looking to get more people involved with the charity portion of the channel, however, those on the team's roster are usually invited to take part in the annual fundraising goal.
